Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is defined as a medical science governing the theory and practice of Chinese medicine. TCM utilizes theories that are thousands of years in the making. Chinese medicine answers the question "Why does this person have an infection/disease, or condition?" In determining the "root" of the problem, Chinese medicine, combined with acupuncture strengthens the body, emotions, and restores health and well being.

Chinese herbal medications are used to build and maintain your body in good health. Natural singular gradients are combined in a customized formula to meet each patient's individual health needs. The herbal remedy is mixed with water, and consumed as a tea.

Acupuncture is an ancient system of treatment used as part of the discipline of TCM. The ancient Chinese hypothesized that energy circulated in the body via specific channels, which they called meridians. The balance and transmission of this energy from side-to-side, top to Acupuncturebottom, and inside/outside the body was of great importance and is expressed using the Yin and Yang doctrine (balancing opposites). Disease, infection, and other health problems occur due to imbalance. Acupuncture is the practice of inserting needles at the appropriate points of discomfort, encouraging the free flow of energy "chi", to restore balance in the body.
